insta 0 Posted October 13, 2001 Is there anything useless that I can delete to save space in my xp installation? I've already removed c:\windows\driver cache\i386\driver.cab because I can take em off the cd, saved about 100mb of space right there. Share this post Link to post
Brian Frank 0 Posted October 13, 2001 I seriously wouldn't take that out. If you are running out of space, buy a bigger drive. Don't remove files from the WINNT directory to save yourself a headache later on. You can delete it, but I advise against it--you're call. MS did that so you wouldn't have to stick in the CD everytime you install new hardware for one. Share this post Link to post
Palos 0 Posted October 13, 2001 For the C: drive, you can disable hibernation and system restore...that will buy you some space. Share this post Link to post
