Having a Problem with Windows Media Services in Win2k

Hey People;

I am running Win2k Adv Server on the Network here. The

Problem i have is when you go to the Adminstrative Tools

and Launch the Windows Media Services Administrating Page.

It Always give me an Error that says : Cannt Connect to

the Computer. Make Sure Windows Media Servies are

installed. And you have Administrator Access to them. Some

error like that. I am logged in as Administrator.i Cant

figure out the Problem at all and i cant get Windows Media

Services to run at all on this Server.Ofcourse i can use

Windows Media Encoder. But i want to try Windows Media

Services. Can Anyone help me to fix this Big Problem I am

having ?

 

 

I am running :

Windows 2000 Advanced Server With Service Pack 2

Internet Exlporer 6

AMD k6 - 333 MHz

256 MB of RAM

Yamaha Sound Card (32 Bit)

Do you have enough license(s)

Media services requires a license for each concurrent broadcast and will not even configure without one

Your config is a bit of a dodgy one...

I would not run Advanced server on 256Mb definetly not on a 333 and absolutely definetly not on a AMD K6 333.

 

Your OS is worth about 8-10 your computer. So I am presuming you do not have any licences. It will not execute without them, even if you can bypass it.
