Winbond IR controller in ASUS L7300 with W2K does not work

Hi,

I recently updated my ASUS L7300 notebook from W98SE to W2K.

No I can´t access the internal infrared port any longer. In the device manager I found an exclamation mark and an error code 10 at the "Winbond fast infrared controller" entry. I use the original W2K drivers.

Any help would be appreciated.

Solved! I received another BIOS update from the ASUS distributor.Now it works fine.

i got l7200, i will see if bios will help.... (on asus web write that it help)
