gummijoh 0 Posted October 18, 2001 Ok guys!! Here is a good one for you to solve. I uninstalled the MSN program that came with XP because I could not talk with my mates that use an older version of MSN. I had to edit sysoc.inf but you knew that already. I installed an earlier verion of MSN found at messenger.msn.com. That worked fine and dandy but then this older version of MSN started to mess with my system. It started to disconnect my adsl and disconnecting from the MSN service. My friends did not get disconnected so this is somekind of an conflict. Now I want to upgrade back to the version that came bundled with XP. the MS site does not help me and I cant seem to install it from my XP disc. Any ideas?? Thanks alot in advance! donald 0 Posted October 24, 2001 Hi you could always try the new version of Messenger (4.5) available from the messenger website if you have XP installed. if you cant find it, let me know I have it on Disk and will email you it. Share this post Link to post
