Ali 0 Posted October 22, 2001 Does anybody knows what Devldr do in win XP it keeps crashing when i log into my computer from any account. i have tried several registery fixes but it didn't help. is it important to have this program running? DEVLDR has a PF file and a several .exe files. is it kind of a driver controller or something? i'll be pleased to learn from you. thanx Share this post Link to post

OLEerror 0 Posted October 22, 2001 It is installed with the SoundBlaster Live! drivers. Why Creative doesn't have the installer detect the Windows version so it isn't installed under Windows 2000 or XP, I don't know. Anyway, do a search for devldr.exe (I think it is under \Windows\System32\) and rename it devldr.old. Then reboot. All fixed. You'll have to do this everytime you install new Live! drivers unless Creative finally decides to hire some programmers that know what they are doing. Share this post Link to post
