LarryTT 0 Posted November 4, 2001 I had the same thing with my IntelliMouse with XP. I have been installing XP Pro the past few days just playing around. I first did an upgrade over Win98. The mouse was horrible. The wheel didn't work. I downloaded the latest drivers. Nothing helped. The OS didn't recognize the mouse had a wheel! I then formatted and installed Win2K and upgraded it to XP. I got the same results! I even did the software install from Microsoft for the Mouse again and nothing helped. I finally did a fresh install of XP all by itself, then installed the IntelliMouse software. Everything works just fine now. Maybe you need a clean install of the OS in order for the IntelliMouse drivers to work? I did the same thing using XP 2505 and had the same results. Share this post Link to post
