Any solution for IE6 and JAVA?

Trying to use DIALPAD.COM today

the java applet wont load in IE6

 

I've tried for 3 hrs, no go.

Ermm... tried going to http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com and downloading the Microsoft Java Virtual Machine?

Went to windows update

Its not one of the updates listed =<

This link was in another thread here. Honestly, I would be surprised to see the MS JVM on WindowsUpdate this soon due to their dispute with Sun.

Seems to "semi-work"

 

When the java applet loads now, my computer freezes for like 10 sec, then unfreezes, can move the mouse for 2 sec, then freezes for 10 sec, then 2 sec of mouse movement, etc etc. I end up rebooting.

 

 

Any suggestions?

I am trying to use www.dialpad.com

 

When i try dialing in a number, I get the 10 sec pause, then i can move mouse for 2 sec, followed by 10 sec pause?

Anyone else confirm they are having this problem? What can I do to fix it? Reinstall IE 6?
