Saving window positions,,how, in XP?

Does anyone know how to save the window positions?

It's not in TweakUI, and the ctrl+X(close) trick isn't working.

im not on XP at present so i cant check but is it not in File Options or Internet Explorer options menu?

 

I remember seeing it yesterday in one of those two places.

If you hold the SHIFT key while you close a window, it will open in the same place next time.

 

I'm pretty sure it's SHIFT, might be CTRL
