For Games: XP Home vs XP Professional

Has anyone tested performance for games between the Home version and the Professional version? All I hear is that the difference between the two is the ability to join domains (and associated tasks). But based on prior history with MS, I would have to figure that the Pro version has higher overhead, and therefore lower framerates.

I cannot find any benchmarks between the two online.

i would do this benchmark for you execpt taht i have a dual processor machine and pro is kind the only way to go for a dualie rig. I am sure that my framerates would be lower on home due to the fact that it would only use one of my processors

I really doubt there would be any noticeable difference. As Four and Twenty posted above, Pro includes support for dual processors so it has the potential to be much faster then the Home version. While the Pro may ship with extra features, you have to enable those features that you want. Basically Home and Pro if configured identically they are identical and therefor no difference should be noticeable.
