tom kruze 0 Posted November 5, 2001 i keep gettting a error before gta2 even loads. GTA2.exe has caused errors and well be closed by windows. Thats all it says i can go into the gta2manger but still cant play can anyone help. i have downloaded the newest patch from gta2.com but still not working not sure why...any suggestions would be helpful thanks...matt Share this post Link to post

BladeRunner 0 Posted November 9, 2001 Well that's not strictly true. GTA2 unpatched works out of the box under both Win2k and WinXP. The patch is there to stop the dreadful slow down the game experiences after about half an hour of play and on the Ice Cream Van bonus level.
