cyberguru 0 Posted November 5, 2001 Im running Windows XP Final on my PC with a GameTheater XP. I have the drivers and it works fairly well. But the other day I was watching Me, Myself and Irene DivX/DVDrip and after about 20 mins the sound screwed up. Its nothing to do with the film cos I listened to it b4 with my old onboard sound device. And its not the DivX codec cos they have nothing to do with the sound. So its either Win XP or GTXP/Drivers. Any takers want to start the ball rolling with an answer? Share this post Link to post
Xiven 0 Posted November 5, 2001 Try turning your hardware sound acceleration down to "Basic". (Start > Run > dxdiag > Sound) Share this post Link to post

yakkob 0 Posted November 6, 2001 Cyber, which drivers are you using? I am using the 3.01's but I have noticed that hercules have the 3.02's up on thier ftp server now. I do not know what the difference is between these 2 versions. Share this post Link to post
cyberguru 0 Posted November 6, 2001 Good point. I went to the hercules web site and saw that 3.02's were out but because there were no other drivers (older ones) I assumed they were the ones I had. But maybe Ill give the new ones a download and see what happens... Share this post Link to post
