date and time in the task bar

how do you change the format of date and time in the taskbar?

my computer at home looks like this:

9:00 AM

Tuesday

11/06/01

 

my computer at work looks like this:

9:00 AM

when the mouse is over the time, it shows Tuesday, November 06, 2001

 

I would like to know how the change from format. I checked on taskbar properties, date and time in control panel and no help.

Resize your taskbar(just like you would resize a window). Make sure "Lock the Taskbar" is unchecked, first
