insaNity 0 Posted November 9, 2001 Does anyone know how you can anonymously share files over SMB, and still stop the guest acount from logging in [locally]. It would be nice if you could make SMB use its on guest acount like ftp does or something... any ideas? Share this post Link to post
CUViper 0 Posted November 9, 2001 Open the "Administrative Tools" and go to "Local Security Policy." Browse to "Local Policies -> User Rights Assignment." There is a setting for "Deny logon locally"; make sure guest is listed there. I think it already is by default, but you can check anyway... Share this post Link to post
