New Folder ?

I've always wondered why this option is not available - perhaps I've just overlooked something:-

 

Is there a way to add a new Folder / Sub-Folder without having to highlight a Folder, then go File, New Folder ? I would like to right-click a folder and have a New Folder option.

Ah! The trick is to right-click some empty space, not to right-click a folder.
