EQChloe 0 Posted November 13, 2001 When I try to install XP, I get this message: SpSetupLoadParameter was unable to find unattendswitch. 11/13/2001 04:04:42,d:\xpclient\base\ntsetup\syssetup\cmdline.c,228,,SETUP: SpSetupLoadParameter was unable to find runoobe. 11/13/2001 04:04:42,d:\xpclient\base\ntsetup\syssetup\cmdline.c,228,,SETUP: SpSetupLoadParameter was unable to find factorymode. 11/13/2001 04:04:42,d:\xpclient\base\ntsetup\syssetup\cmdline.c,228,,SETUP: SpSetupLoadParameter was unable to find uniqueness. 11/13/2001 04:04:43,d:\xpclient\base\ntsetup\syssetup\cmdline.c,228,,SETUP: SpSetupLoadParameter was unable to find includecatalog. One of the components that Windows needs to continue setup could not be installed. Manifest Parse Error : Invalid at the top level of the document. GUI mode Setup has ended because of a fatal error. Bursar 0 Posted November 13, 2001 Is the PC overclocked? If so, try running it at the proper speed during the install and then clock it again afterwards. I had to do this get XP installed on one of my machines. Share this post Link to post
