XP and Games/control pads

Recommended Posts

Well hear is my story, bought XP professional 3 weeks ago. I installed it (upgrade Win98 SE) and nothing and I mean nothing was compatible. I had no sound, improper video display, programs would not run etc, etc...Total nightmear!!! I unistalled XP and went back to 98. I found this site and it was full of info. I downloaded all new drivers for my devices for Xp and reinstalled. I have everything working except for three things. #1) my video card which was a Voodoo3 3500 was not supported!Downloaded refrence drivers after reference drivers to my heart's content still no luck, I broke down and bought one of those new Geforce 3 and it works like a charm!!!!#2)I have an Interact 3DFX Hammerhead 262 gamepad with force feed back. I can not get XP to reconize the softwear. It is incompatible! Try to force it to win98 still nothing, there are no updated drivers and I love this gamepad!!! Please HELP... and lastly #3) All my games work except for rouge spear even when forced to Win98/95/2000 does not work!!!! and My newest game "Operation Flash Piont" loads but then nothing!!!

If anyone can help with any of these problems please let me know.I noticed that everyone hear list's there CPU spec's so I will do the same if that helps.
