windows update nvidia 21.83 drivers?

i noticed that windows update has posted new 21.83 geforce 3 drivers for windows xp. has anyone tried these yet? any loss in performance? are the blue screens fixed?

Last time I checked on the nVidia site, the 21.83 drivers were the official version. Why not just download them from there?

 

I've run the 21.83s on my XP box for a while and haven't had any problems at all.

So the rather 'washy' image quality and BSOD errors in NV4_disp.dll are by design in the 21.83 drivers?

Now I know I'll stop hoping for a fix!
