ahearnb 0 Posted November 30, 2001 I had made a reference to this in another thread, but this is really starting to make me mad. I get a checkerboard BSOD telling me that I have an infinite loop problem, etc. Why does this happen? Is it an XP problem? Other people have this problem, evidently, because I've heard it mentioned. It is weird, because I had previously only seen it when I played Max Payne. It will happen every time. Then it happened twice the other night. Then twice again tonight. Very annoying when I am doing something important. Any light on this? Thanks guys. Oh, I've tried a couple different drivers....I have the 21.83's now, I think. Brad Share this post Link to post
AndyFair 0 Posted November 30, 2001 I've only ever seen this on XP, not on other OSes. Also (and maybe others can back me up on this) I don't recall ever seeing this on beta versions of XP until the final RTM release (version 2600?). This suggests (to me anyhow) that it's a problem with XP and not nVidia... I've just installed the latest Detonators (23.10?), and they do seem to be slightly more stable - fewer BSODs - although we're not quite there yet, we're getting close!
