pmistry 0 Posted December 1, 2001 WCPUID reports that AGP Fast Writes are enabled in the BIOS but disabled currently in the OS, which I don't understand why. It is enabled in the BIOS. I didn't have this problem under Windows 2000 or ME, I am using Hercules 21.81 detonators with my Hercules 3D Prophet 2 MX. I have a VIA KX133 motherboard, and the card is utilizing AGP 4x. The only way I can enable fast writes is by using the Hercules Tweaker program. But when I restart Windows, Fast Writes are disabled again. Share this post Link to post

pmistry 0 Posted December 2, 2001 Thanks for the information, it was driving me nuts. I installed my Hercules 14.10 drivers under XP and Fast Writes are working. Interestlingly enought the default MS drivers for XP have fast writes enabled too. Share this post Link to post
