pcdabbler 0 Posted December 8, 2001 I would, the service packs are intelligent enough to interrogate the OS. I belive the lateat Via just updates some .inf stuff in XP. Share this post Link to post
Ge0ph 0 Posted December 8, 2001 Is your system working? If so, leave it alone, If not, it might be worth a try. For me they have borked more then they ever fixed. Share this post Link to post
Brian Frank 0 Posted December 10, 2001 That's the AMD761/Via 686B board right? If so, use the drivers off Epox site, not the 4-in-1's. Otherwise ignore this post. Share this post Link to post
pr-man 1 Posted December 10, 2001 Yeah thats the board, but I dont see any XP drivers on Epoxs site Share this post Link to post
Bootykika 0 Posted December 12, 2001 Adding via 4-in-1 drivers to Win XP makes stuff start to act funny. I've tried it both ways, both on my Epox 8k7a, and it seems to be more stable without the 4n1. Share this post Link to post
Ralf Hutter 0 Posted December 15, 2001 I have the same mobo as you and I never install the Via drivers. XP already has 'em and they work fine, NEVER any issues. I've heard they're 4.24s, but can't confirm it through Device Manager. Share this post Link to post
