RavishingRocket 0 Posted December 4, 2001 Im trying to delete the other user accounts that aren't in use. The main account and one i always use is labeled RavishingRocket, the others are Administrator and Guest. I never use either of the other two and im trying to delete them but when i try to it says user ravishingrocket/guest could not be removed. Is there someway i can delete those? Also im trying to delete some folders that don't have anything in them, but when i try it says...there has been a sharing violation. Why does it say that and how could i remove the folders Thanx! clutch 1 Posted December 4, 2001 You can't (and shouldn't even if you could) delete either the administrator or guest accounts. Share this post Link to post
neuralfx 0 Posted December 10, 2001 you can rename the Administrator acount, in the local group policy, to RavishingRocket and delete ur current account, samething basically, the guest account is disabled by default anyway, and about deleting the directory, is this a network share? are you doing it as Admin? if not do you have permision? -neural Share this post Link to post
