tonyh413 0 Posted December 6, 2001 I just installed Win2k on my system and have all the updated drivers for my video card. I even got the compatibility update for win2k & falcon 4.0 from Microsoft. Yet i still have problems. The game seems to be looking for glide2x.dll. I went and downloaded that file for NT and installed it. This only caused more errors. If anyone knows how to get Falcon 4.0 to work with win2k, I would be very appreciative. Share this post Link to post
DosFreak 2 Posted December 7, 2001 There are a number of unofficial patches for Falcon 4.0 to bring it up to date. I doubt they are on the official company website. I do not have the game but I have heard of them. A search on www.google.com would likely find what you are looking for. Share this post Link to post

Beagle 0 Posted December 11, 2001 Hi, just registered to answer in here, hope linking to other boards is okay... Tony: Check out www.frugalsworld.com , there you'll find lots of Falcon specific infos as W2k compatibility and many more. Good luck Beagle Share this post Link to post
rgodart 0 Posted December 11, 2001 I had the same problem. Run the game in windows 98 compatibility mode or install SP2, this will fix the problem. Share this post Link to post
cb95amc 0 Posted January 25, 2002 Visit http://f4ut.frugalsworld.com and download SP1 for Falcon4 (although by the time you read this SP2 might be released). Not only will these fix your problem with Glide2x.dll but will also greatly improve Falcon4 (SP2 should be awesome). (Don't get SP1 & SP2 for Falcon4 confused with SP1 & SP2 for Windows 2000) BTW - In order to play Falcon4 using SP1 or SP2 you will need a fast CPU. You could also try a version of eFalcon (the predecessor to the SP releases). Regards Andrew Share this post Link to post
