Jobe 0 Posted December 10, 2001 After an extreme attack of about 5 BSOD's last night I finally gave up and shut down. Then, this morning I booted up and it tells me that my command.com file is missing or corrupt and that I should point to its location. I tried pointing to c:\windows\system32, but it said the DOS version was incorrect. When trying to get into the startup menu it takes me into a Windows 98 startup screen and none of the options work (safe mode, logged...). All the regular Windows XP "restore to previously stable state", or whatever it said no longer exsist. Any way I can get this command.com file back into place? Thanks Share this post Link to post
