Palos 0 Posted December 13, 2001 Yea, I want to get your thoughts on this... Which drivers seem to have the best balance between speed and stability? I tried 23.11 and it died on me with a lockup then BSOD with infinite loop. I have an ASUS V7100 Pro (GF2MX-400 w/TVout), and I was thinking of using the newest Asus drivers (21.81) for W2K/XP. Did anyone use those, and how do they compare to Nvidia reference drivers? I don't care if I get 80 FPS instead of 100, I just need stability. Of course if they pull 40 FPS instead of 100, then I'll reconsider Share this post Link to post
AndyFair 0 Posted December 13, 2001 If you're using a VIA motherboard, you may want to try downloading the latest VIA 4-in-1's, which supposedly contain a fix for the infinite loop problem. Rgds AndyF Share this post Link to post
BladeRunner 0 Posted December 13, 2001 For me, my first love under WinXP was the old 12.41 drivers. However, with the release of the 23.11's I now have to vote these. Anything after 12.41 caused lock-up's in games, browsing the Internet etc. The 23.11's have been rock solid since installation, haven't caused me one single problem and they are fast to boot. Shame you're having problems with them, they really are good. Share this post Link to post
