jwilson1982 0 Posted December 27, 2001 Hey all! I'm new here and I was wondering if anyone could help me out with getting Civilization II to work in XP. Whenever I try to start it, I get this error message: CIV2 caused a General Protection Fault in module IR41.DLL at 0005:4E60. Choose close. CIV2 will close. Can anyone help me get this resolved? EvilPriest 0 Posted December 28, 2001 I am no expert by far, but I am playing Civ2 without a problem on a win/xp system. As a matter of fact it plays better than on 9x. The error you are getting may be a memory problem. Try a new stick or take one out, switch them around and see if you have the same problem. EP Share this post Link to post
