After starting the game this error message appears: "no 3d-card detected" I have a "Nvidia Riva TNT2 Model 64" graphic card, so this error message isn't true because my card supports 3d. I have also played this game with windows 98 on the same computer system with the same graphic card and it worked perfect. So I think it can only be an error caused by windows 2000.
