cd burning question & xp+burners=incompatibilities

do i enable imapi something(default burning software found in xp) when i have nero(it seems nero cant burn wmp format without errors) & clone cd. i instaled burners fix found on win update(before fix i managed to scrap couple of cd's). just bougt plexwriter 24/10/40a so i need to know about posible incompatibilities, errors between xp and burners/burning software.

What version of Nero? Did you install ASPI drivers? (you shouldn't have to). Is everything else updated?
