RoadRunn 0 Posted January 13, 2002 I unstalled the Sept '01 SHS Glide/OpenGL drivers (although the install files say that OpenGL is not in there) and tried to play Unreal Tounament (the only application I could use to force a test on the Voodoo2 card). All I get is a white window where the display should have been. A few questions: -Do the Voodoo2 XP drivers only have Glide? -What other applications can I try to see if it us UT or the drivers causing the display problems. RoadRUnn Share this post Link to post
RoadRunn 0 Posted January 14, 2002 Ok you can shoot me now. I was use to Win2K and living without my Voodoo2 for so long I forgot I unpluged the loopback cable and plugged my monitor directly into my 2D card (which is an SIS 63xx built on my PC-Chips M747 sysbd). Once I snapped out of my comma and plugged things in correctly all is working on glide. Unreal Tournament works in Glide mode and even got Return to Castle Wolfenstein to work with their provided WickedGL drivers. Which brings me to my other question. It has noted in your drivers that OpenGL is not supported. If that is correct is there another GL provider (or way to use the RtCW WickedGL drivers) for WinXP with the VD2? Thanx for your help. SHS 0 Posted January 14, 2002 RoadRunn Castle Wolfenstein is OpenGL only in fact it using the Q3 code. This what you can due copy 3dfxvgl.dll in to the game folder of that game rename it to opengl32.dll Share this post Link to post
RoadRunn 0 Posted January 15, 2002 All in due time. I have a TNT2 sitting right here but as this sysbd doesn't have an AGP slot I'm S.O.L. I will be upgrading soon but you might as well make good with what you have until funds allow new purchases. Share this post Link to post
