BladeRunner 0 Posted January 16, 2002 Is anybody here using the FastTrak 100 TX4? This is the RAID 0+1 controller that has 4 IDE channels on rather than the 2 found on the original FastTrak 66/100 & TX2. I'm liking the idea of this card, means I can run my RAID 0+1 array (40x 60GB IBM drives) with all 4 drives having their own IDE channel. If anybody here is using one can you tell me what kind of performance you get etc? Ta Share this post Link to post
EM 0 Posted January 16, 2002 I have one...but have never used it. Bought it used and am not able to install XP Pro on it on my Tiger MP dual Athlon board. I can install WinME so I know it works but since ME sucks goats and isn't dual capable, I don't use my Promise card. Anybody have any ideas as to installing it on a Tiger MP let me know.
