Ekstreme 0 Posted November 1, 1999 Can someone PLEASE clear up all this ASPI confusion. I CANNOT burn anything using 2128. I have 2 totally different scsi cards One a tekram DC 310 and the other an Adaptec AVA 2902 and they perform with no difference!! I get ASPI errors everytime I try to burn a CD. The tell me that my scsi card is not aspi compat or I need to reinstall easy cd/aspi, which I have done ENDLESS times. I have downloaded the supposed 2000 aspi driver, which has one lone file, WNASPI32.DLL. NO DIFF. So now when I run aspi check it says that there are error, cause the files are not all the same version. I there a full ASPI update for 2000?? PLEASE HELP!!!!! Share this post Link to post
jams 0 Posted November 1, 1999 well, i cannot help you much. But im running 2128 easy cd 4 with Adaptec 2902 scsi adapter and a Matsu****a 7502 cdwriter, same as yours, just different name! And it works great! The latest aspi should be installed with easy cd 4! Share this post Link to post
Ekstreme 0 Posted November 1, 1999 What does your SCSI card detect as under hardware?? The bad thing is, I have the exact same F*&%$G burner too!! Share this post Link to post
Wuff 0 Posted November 1, 1999 The first thing you should do is to remove the wnaspi driver... This driver in the first place is to add support for IDE-Drivers. The latest ASPI Drivers for your SCSI-CD-Writer have been installed with Adaptec Easy CD Creator 4.0 ! Then everything should work fine. But if you installed other writer-software and removed them then you have the same problem as I have. Everything worked fine but after I removed Nero, WinOnCD and CD Wizard I cannot burn any CD with win2k. Reinstalling them doesn't help. So I installed Win98SE and now I'm burning with it.
