ASPI/SCSI failure

Recommended Posts

I have a Tekram DC-310 SCSI adapter, which runs my Panasonic 7502 CD-R When I try to burn a CD using 2128, I get:

ASPI failure

FLUSH Failure

ASPI Failure

then it says my SCSI card is not ASPI compatiable.

Adaptec says that Easy CD creator 4 works fine on 2k. Tekram say that my card works fine on 2k, what's going wrong??

Please help, I can make a mobile with all the coasters I now have!! frown.gif

I've tried every aspi driver I can get my hands one, all with the same error message!

I had heaps of probs with this SCSI card under NT 4 too, if I didn't physically remove it, install everything first, then install it, I would get blue screen of death. Time for a new card me thinks. smile.gif

Can anyone please tell me what the latest ASPI version is?? I have 4.6 and wnaspi32.dll 1.03 which I got of some 2000 site. the prob is that none of these seem to work. I've bought a new adaptec scsi card today and it still doesn't work!

As you've now got an Adaptec card, go to their web site and get the ASPI update kit. It will slap the latest versions onto your machine.

However, as you've been extensively "tinkering" with SCSI stuff in order to get things working, it may be a good idea to do a clean re-install...

The best way to re-install is to first search the WINNT\INF directory for *.INF and *.PNF files that refer to the hardware, and delete them - then do the driver update.
