miku 0 Posted January 28, 2002 Hi Guys, After converting a PS to PDF using Adobe Distiller 5, the PDF file output is no longer as good as can be seen in Ghostscript. Although there is no mistake or error, the problem is hardviewing. It is hard to read the text. Are there any options that can be setup in Acrobat to make it right. ARC Share this post Link to post
CUViper 0 Posted January 28, 2002 I know what you mean, but if you print it, it will still come out loking nice. I don't how to make Acrobat's preview work better though. If you zoom in you can see the better detail, if that helps you... Share this post Link to post
miku 0 Posted January 29, 2002 Thanks CUViper! If you at any time get to know about it, let me know. Thanks! Share this post Link to post
AndyFair 0 Posted January 29, 2002 It could also be to do with the fonts that you are using - if you're using TrueType fonts with no Adobe Type 1 equivalent, then the PDF distiller is usually forced to render the fonts as bitmaps. However, if you tell the distiller to use a decent resolution, the PDF should look OK, and be good enough to print. Of course, if it really is a problem, you could always change fonts!
