redo 0 Posted January 31, 2002 Just upgraded to win 2k and found my 3dfx vid drivers didnt work. Got the correct one from here and installed them. Now when I join a game it is so dark that I can barely see anything even with the gamma turned all of the way up. In win98 there was a way to set the color for your monitor and I've used this in the past to correct my problem. Now I can't find were you do this in win2k. Does anyone know how to do this in wi2k? Also, now when I exit a game I get an error msg and the computer completely locks up. Anyone know what could the the cause of this? Share this post Link to post
redo 0 Posted January 31, 2002 Ok, first half of problem solved by downloading and useing APK 3DFX tuning engine. Great program . Not only solved my problem but also increased my FPS to 65-70. I never got over 25-30 before! WOOOOOOT! lol Anyhow, still cant figure out why my computer locks up when i quit half life game. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Share this post Link to post
