hidden network devices?????

I have 2 nics in my severpc and for some reason i had to plug and unplug them several times. But every time Windows gives them another number. Now they are listed as local area connection 8 and 9. How can a see and delete the invisible devices?

just rename them

i have seen this before with things like my usb camera.
