sapiens74 0 Posted February 10, 2002 SIS Hands down. They have made some descent chipsets in the past year Share this post Link to post
clutch 1 Posted February 10, 2002 I don't even know why ServerWorks would be an option, since most people don't know that they even exist, let alone what level of chipsets they offer. Share this post Link to post
JP- 0 Posted February 11, 2002 Authough i havent owned 1 recently its gotta be sis. Share this post Link to post
Brian Frank 0 Posted February 11, 2002 I put SiS myself too. They just came out of left field with performance chipsets for cheap. I put ServerWorks in because they were the only other chipset manufacturer I could think of, and because I felt like it:p Share this post Link to post
pimpin_228 0 Posted February 11, 2002 O chose server works because i didn't know what it was lol Share this post Link to post
sapiens74 0 Posted February 11, 2002 Intel tho still makes the best chipsets. Amd needs to watch and learn Share this post Link to post
Palos 0 Posted February 11, 2002 I would have to say Intel. Dunno much about SIS, but I know a lot of people that owned Elitegroup boards with a SIS chipset (athlon socket 7) and died on them at an astounding rate (8 out of 10 had to be replaced). Share this post Link to post
JP- 0 Posted February 11, 2002 Its most 'improved' chipset though, intel make good ones 99% of the time so its a bit hard to improve Share this post Link to post
