Palos 0 Posted February 11, 2002 Go for EPOX EP-4BDA2+ Socket 478 (Intel 845 chipset) Share this post Link to post
Brian Frank 0 Posted February 11, 2002 I'd say the Asus P4B, but it's only got 3 DIMM slots last I checked. I like Asus. Share this post Link to post
akoum 0 Posted February 12, 2002 That Epox mobo and a P4 2.2 will do you good. At least as good as PC-133 allows it to get. Share this post Link to post
Brian Frank 0 Posted February 13, 2002 Agreed. You really ought to save up some more and get some RDRAM or DDR and a motherboard to go with it. You're gonna be seriously castrating the performance of the P4. Share this post Link to post
donald 0 Posted February 13, 2002 i know i should get DDR but its the cost thats putting me off, and what would i do with the 1GB of SDRAM i have no use for it if the new MB doesn't support it Thanks for the advice, I will look into the Motherboards sugested. Share this post Link to post
