read only attrib

Recommended Posts

Anyone else using XP that can't seem to get rid of the read-only attrib on files? I uncheck it, hit apply, and open up the properties again, and it's still there. Even the command line 'attrib -r-a-s-h *.* /s' doesn't work.

I hate it when msft keeps asking me 'are you sure you actually want to move this file, even though it's against the church/state/our policy?'.

Someone give me a gun. I'll troubleshoot it...
