videobruce 0 Posted March 7, 2002 I'm tring to image a drive on a computer with 2 bootable drives and can't. I tried sysprep but that doesn't work. I get a 'mshta.exe error' message when I open up add/remove programs after I image the drive. On the orginal drive all is OK. Tried the 'sfc scannow' fix and that didn't help either. I orginally had ME on one drive and 2k on the other. Award V6 is the bios, KT-133 is the chipset I have SP2 installed and am using FAT32. Anyone use Drive Image instead? Share this post Link to post
Catdog02 0 Posted March 20, 2002 The only Norton prgram I rate is Ghost, we use it all the time without errors. I think that sysprep can only be used on a computer with a single partition(?) Share this post Link to post
ThC 129 0 Posted March 20, 2002 I have used ghost and Drive Image Pro (Deploy Center) without problems. If your images are not returning correctly then it is a problem with the way you ghosted or the media you ghosted to. Share this post Link to post
lospione 0 Posted October 31, 2002 I used Norton Ghost 2002 to clone the entire DISK with Windows 2000 server installed. the two disks are the very same model (and size of course...) after the clone the "Cloned disk" has problems with the Add/Remove function under the "control panel". i tried the sfc and the regsvr32 but the PROBLEM IS WORST than before! is there some EXPERT that can help me?? Dirty Harry 0 Posted October 31, 2002 Quote: Anyone use Drive Image instead? Yes, for many years and never had a problem. My main use is to clone my sys partition to an other HD (same PC) in order to produce a 1 to 1 test system. Drive Image has always worked perfectly, but Ghost is supposed to work just as good. H.
