Four and Twenty 0 Posted March 16, 2002 get something from asus with an intel chipset not sure on the models but i know that there are 2 chipsets i845 and i845d support sdram and ddrsdram and the i850 supports RDRAM the i845(d) is cheaper and the ram is cheaper stay away from standard sdram with the p4 cause it will kill the performance you need the 845d or the 850 don't mess with via you may get burned sis is supposed to be ok but i wouldn't really trust them either. intel has a history of performance and stability and compatability you will pay more for intel but the 845d is very reasonable. Denver_80203 0 Posted March 16, 2002 Your LG CDR may not like XP... I think it's some kind of scam but CD burners have some kind of trouble with OS changes. Share this post Link to post
CyberGenX 0 Posted March 16, 2002 I have an LG 8X4X32X and it works great in XP, with Nero, Roxio or XP built in BS Share this post Link to post
