Wing 0 Posted March 24, 2002 I'm using W2k and I can't seem to get to the compatability mode like I could in XP. What's wrong? My friend says he has compatability mode and I read some posts and they seem to confirm this too, is there some way to activate it or something? Share this post Link to post
Catdog02 0 Posted March 24, 2002 You need to install the support tools (win2kpro CD 1) under /support/tools The program is called apcompat.exe, which you can activate from the start = Run menu. It's the same thing that XP uses, but it looks a little less refined. Its still pretty simple to operate though. Share this post Link to post
ZEHN 0 Posted March 24, 2002 WING when i installed W2K i had the same thing but all i did is get the updates from Microsoft and viola!! there it was (but no 98 compatibility in the drop down though but i have never needed it either) i think everybody should get the updates anyway, it just makes things run smoother for everybody. just like that last virus(forget name )that all ppl had to do is get an update to fix it and there are still ppl that don't have the fix. sry bout the rant ZEHN Share this post Link to post
