MaxQc 0 Posted March 25, 2002 I had to create a user for my task manager to work properly... but when i boot up XP, this user is in the logon screen and I dont want it to be there... I want the computer to automatically boot into windows without this screen... I tried the automatic logon (i found it in the XP ressource kit book) but it dont work... vmware(a software) has created a user but this one doesn't appear in the login screen so I guess there is a way to apply this policie to the user I created thank you Share this post Link to post
Davros 0 Posted March 25, 2002 You can use TweakUI to enable autologon. Also with TweakUI, you can specify which users appear on the welcome screen. TweakUI is part of the WinXP Powertoys package. It is not available on MS website for now, they are working on a new version, which will be available in April. But you can download the previous version here. Share this post Link to post
