Raynor 0 Posted March 26, 2002 Hi ! I want to use the Hewlett Packard external CD-Writer 7100e with Windows XP. In the hardware compatiblity lists this writer is supposed to work under windows 2000 with the lastest drivers from SCM: "The external devices are working fine with the latest drivers from SCM (Shuttletech). www.shuttletech.com " I got theses drivers: Parallel to ATAPI, Win2k Drivers 1.50 "Epatap2k.zip" from SCM, but the writer ist only installed as a system devices called SCM PPort ATAPI Adapter and cannot be used with any burning software. By the way: the SCM Connect-Utility doesn't recognize it, either. What can I do ? Thx ! Share this post Link to post
