prost8 0 Posted March 29, 2002 i've just installed mother-board-monitor 5 on my computer and found that my cpu temp is sitting on 59-64^C when at 100% processor usage! i'm pretty sure this isn't normal, is it safe? i've got a PIII 800 with the standard heat-sync and fan, not overclocked. anybody else heard of this? or could it be a faulty sensor? oh, and how do u do that little degrees symbol. clutch 1 Posted March 29, 2002 Mine ran at about 42*C under full load, so I would wonder about yours. I can't remember what max spec was, but I *thought* it was something like 75*C. You should take a look at Intel's site to make sure. Also, did you use a good thermal paste when the HSF was installed? Share this post Link to post
