TDMThinker 0 Posted March 31, 2002 Ok, I have a minor but EXTREMELY annoying problem with IE6. If I have two windows open at once, and switch between them, it takes a brief pause (perhaps 2-3 seconds) to show the new screen. It used to be much faster... Does anyone have any ideas? I have tried to delete or empty the "hidden files" but that didn't work (by myself and using a utility), tried a program called tweakie, and that didn't work. I installed Netscape, and that is as fast as IE6 was, but I don't like Netscape, I like IE. I am at the point of scrapping the whole thing and going to 2000. Also, does anyone know how to uninstall that voice recognition? The address bar in Netscape suddenly started typing by itself what I was saying... Please, please, please, please, if you can help...
