Anyways to get HP 8100 working with Adaptec 3.5?

I've heard the IDE burners will work fine with Adaptec 4.0, but im not gonna shell out $99 for it.

 

So has anyone got there Burner working with Win2k Pro and Easy CD Creator 3.5?? If so how?

According to Adaptec, 3.5 works fine under 2k. You'll need to go get a patch for it off their site however. Should fix ya right up
