DMA in 2000

So, can anyone tell me how to find out if dma is enabled on my drives...and if it isn't, how to do it?

 

I've got info on NT, and wonder if it applies directly to 2000.

Go into device manager and double click on primary ide or secondary ide channel under ide ATA/ATAPI controllers and select advanced settings. It's all there.

make sure the jumpers at the back of your cdrom is set to UDMA first..that'll help
