Palos 0 Posted April 29, 2002 Jeezus...I think Im last with my poor 3100 3Dmarks, lol. The videocard seems to make a huge difference. Share this post Link to post
CrazyKillerMan 0 Posted April 29, 2002 huge differance Going from 3600 with radeon 64 meg DDR, to approz 7100 with 8500. Same system Share this post Link to post
NotSoSmart 0 Posted April 30, 2002 My same system with my GF2 GTS Pro score was 4400 so yes IMHO if you have a 1.3 CPU or better you can get lots better performance with a video card upgrade. Share this post Link to post
JP- 0 Posted April 30, 2002 Ah it doesnt matter really, 3dmarks mean nothing. As long as you can run your games well with your current setup there is no need to change anything. Share this post Link to post
Brian Frank 0 Posted May 1, 2002 I like posting my stuff, regardless of what people already had. My blood, sweat, and tears (okay, no crying was involved---lots of swearing at points tho) were involved in putting each machine together. I know darn well I'm not gonna have the highest 3D Mark score, but they are good refrences and fun to compare. But, in the end, it doesn't even matter... I've had 2 different motherboards run through here recently for my main rig, and playing games, I can't tell a damn difference. 3D Mark scores, yeah, a 500 point diff is big, but even watching it, there's not a whole big difference, as the system is still PDQ. Hammer91 0 Posted May 1, 2002 "A shocking 11000 not even tweaked, im well pleased to say the least." Your front side bus is bumped to 123Mhz, isn't that a "tweak" =) My last 3dmark2001se score was 10,027, thats COMPLETELY stock settings,no overclocking at all =) Hammer Share this post Link to post
Mr.Guvernment 0 Posted February 8, 2003 hehe, had to post..lol (not that this score means jack to me but amusing to see how excited some people get over it!) work system below (p4 2.4) - fresh install - standard tests - 14543 - no tweaks, no over clocking. Code: Score: 14543 Date: 2003-01-14 CPU: Intel Pentium 4 2386 MHz GPU: ATI RADEON 9700/9500 Series OS: Microsoft Windows XP Res: 1024x768 32bit http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k1=5630581 Share this post Link to post
adamvjackson 0 Posted February 8, 2003 Well, I think it's fairly safe to say most everyone's score(s) will be going down with the soon-to-be-released 3DMark03... Rumor has it that it will be released Feb. 11th, for those who are interested. Share this post Link to post
