Denver_80203 0 Posted April 28, 2002 I've heard that there are security settings in IE that will put a stop to pop-ups. I've been using Pop-up Killer for a while, but it's become flaky.... it's over killing (killed this page). I know I can difine more in the aplication, but this may be a better way. Anyway.. anyone know what I can tweak to slow down the ads? Thanks! Share this post Link to post
evilhomer 0 Posted April 29, 2002 I use Norton Internet security to block adds, it works very very well, i'd say it blocks 95% of adds on only 5% of non-adds. And it can b turned on or off very easily so its ok. There are alot of other programs that do the same. Share this post Link to post
polarcat 0 Posted May 2, 2002 There's a front-end for IE which has pop-up stopping function built-in in it: http://crazybrowser.com Share this post Link to post
