pax 0 Posted April 29, 2002 Woop! Glad to see the <bootcfg /add> bit under repair under setup worked fine to fix my old winxp drive ... now a note to bill gates. Please add a simple error msg when trying to format c: from a different boot drive when dual booting. "Error erasing all information from this drive will disable windows xp from BOOTING! Please do not format unless absolutely necessary." Just telling me you cant format doesnt tell me squat amd most wont know that ntdlr will default to c: no matter where xp is installed. A little bit more userfriendliness cant hurt... Some of us still have win 98 boot diskettes ya know! Cheers! Share this post Link to post
