sbail1 0 Posted May 12, 2002 Got a Compaq Proliant 3000 I was running with one processor in Win2k and the cards were working fine, I switch to MPS Multiprocessor mode and go to Display properties, click advanced I get " memap returned a error trying to map memory " now they won't initialize(the tab is now totally blocked out and say's Initializatiion error #2) any ideas? On another topic while running with one processor I went into display properties and click the Pure 3D II tab it show 4MB Texture memory and 8MB of something else, since I'm running SLI shouldn't that be 8MB Texture and 16MB something else? It doesn't show that I'm running SLI, is there a way to find out? I'm using the Canopus Drivers from www.ntcompatible.com I've SP2 installed and most of the patches from the Microsoft update site. Thanks for any help Share this post Link to post
SHS 0 Posted May 12, 2002 You can't use Multiprocessor with Voodoo1,2 under Win2000 Share this post Link to post
Frank_Black 0 Posted May 17, 2002 I used my two voodoo2's in SLI mode with win2k in a dual p3 500mhz machine without any problem. I was using two STB blackmagic cards with the last beta reference drivers released by 3dfx. I would definitely try those drivers in win2k instead of using the canopus drivers, since they are the last drivers to come from 3dfx for the voodoo2 chip. you can get them from voodoofiles.com Share this post Link to post
